Registered with the City Sherriff yesterday. This means that I am now anofficial candidate and will be standing in the bye election. A constituent met me and asked me if this meant that I was an imposter up to this point!
It was all a slightly forbidding experience. You met the Sherriff and his staff and they go through all of your details with some rigour. Thankfully all was in order for me.
Had a busy day today. Did the traffic lights this morning, canvassed, then had a meeting followed by another canvass. Picking up kids, then have a canvass tonight followed by 2 public meetings.
