Back in action in Seanad Eireann today. Spoke on the Order of Business and managed to make a complete mess of it. Said that there were 400,000 euro on the Live Register, meant to say people. Sign of been tired I suppose.
Struck by the insularity of some of the comments on the Order of Business. Many raised issues such as the councillors that lost their elections, the state of the live register etc. I raised the issue of rising unemployment,
the declining credit rating of our country and so on.
Seems to me that this is what people want raised, not the quality of the electoral register.
