My comments last Thursday in the Seanad have certainly caused some debate.
I then suggested that we need to find some way of bringing our political system together at this time of crisis. The comments by Fitch have provided edge to this debate. I spoke on this today in the Seanad. We are been asked to agree with the Government on their budgetary strategy. However they’re not telling us what their strategy is. If they tell us their plan perhaps we’ll be able to come up with a good response.
