FUNDING FOR SPORTS CLUBS & PROJECTS ACROSS DUBLIN CENTRAL
Approximately €280,000 in funding has been made available by Government through the Sports Capital Programme to sporting clubs and organisations across Dublin Central. Whilst the majority of this funding will go directly tolocal clubs and societies, the remainder will be made available to Dublin City Council to undertake improvement works on four separate facilities, including:
- Upgrading the All-Weather pitch in the Cabra Parkside Sports Complex.
- Carrying out substantial pitch improvements on the playing pitches along the Alfie Byrne Road.
- Improving the playing surface in the East Wall Recreation Centre.
- The provision of further Gym equipment in the Ballybough Community Centre.
