100 new jobs for Dublin Central builds on the progress the Govt is making – Donohoe

1st July, 2015

The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport and Fine Gael TD for Dublin Central, Paschal Donohoe, today (Wednesday) welcomed the announcement of 100 new jobs by KamaGames, which has its global headquarters at 110 Amiens Street in Dublin Minister Donohoe said the delivery of such high-end jobs builds on the progress the Government is making in getting people back to work, restoring Ireland to full employment by 2018 and delivering a better future for our people.
“The announcement this afternoon by the Minister for Enterprise, Jobs and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, provides valuable opportunities for those who are hoping to develop a career in the ever-growing world of gaming. KamaGames will be well known to those who know gaming and the decision by the company to open its global HQ here in Dublin back in 2013 was a strong signal of how Ireland had positioned itself as a global leader within the sector.

“KamaGames predicates the growth of its operations here on a number of things; our pro-business environment and an educated and skilled workforce among them. This is testament to the direction the Government has taken since coming to Office, which, as we have seen by yesterday’s unemployment figures, is reaping dividends. These new jobs will be very well received in the local economy and by those who secure them. I wish KamaGames the very best of luck with this phase of their expansion and to a successful future in Dublin Central.”
