AIRPORT – PORT AVIATION FUEL LINK

An application for the construction of an aviation fuel link between the port and the airport is likely to be lodged with Dublin City Council and Fingal County Council in the coming weeks. It is expected the application will seek permission for the construction and laying of a 200mm pipe connecting the airport with the port. Some of the proposed piping will be installed along Alfie Byrne Road and East Wall Road before entering the port. Fingleton White, the company responsible for delivering this project, has advised Councillor Ray McAdam and I that a series of public information sessions will be organised in advance of the application being formally lodged with the two local authorities. When details about these information sessions are available, both Councillor Ray McAdam and I will ensure that local residents are informed.
