The Seanad is full of really impressive people. The one who most continually impresses me is Shane Ross. He is the Father of the House (longest serving Senator) and a very prominent journalist for the Independent Group. I was a bit disappointed when Shane came out for the No side in the last Lisbon referendum. I’m delighted to read today that Shane is now batting for the Yes side. Hopefully he will be able to use his prominent position to argue for the right decision.
