National Spatial Strategy, and everything else

14th October, 2010

Main job today was to speak on the national spatial strategy review. Spent a fair bit of today getting ready for it. My main point was that there was not enough integration of enterprise strategy with planning strategy to ensure that Gateway towns really worked. We can put in place the infrastructure but the business and employment has to be there to make it viable. Apart from that worked on Kenmare presentation and then did a Q102 interview on state cars. Tonight includes a Navan Road policing meeting, 1916 monument meeting and a table quiz for Belvedere Youth Club.
