Throughout the course of today, some residents in Phibsborough contacted me to express their concern about the extent of future services in Phibsborough Post Office.
On foot of these concerns, I sought clarification from An Post regarding the future of the Post Office in Phibsborough and services provided there. In response, officials have advised that An Post intends to convert the Phibsborough Post Office “from being a company run office to one run by a contractor”. This change “will not in any way change the range or extent of the services offered by An Post.” Let me assure you that I will work to ensure that the commitment made by An Post to provide Phibsborough with the “highest level of services for the future” is fully honoured and implemented in full.
