Paschal welcomed students and staff of St Declan’s CBS to Leinster House today. As a former pupil of the school he was delighted to meet the tour and explain how the Oireachtas works and what the daily work of a Senator involves. He believes that helping young people understand how their Parliament works is vitally important as they are the people who will live with the consequences that politicians make today. The tour consisted of a visit to the Dail, the Seanad, Leinster House and questions and answers on political life.
