Dublin City Councillors have tonight granted planning permission which gives go ahead for the redevelopment of the St. Finbar’s Court site in Cabra.
46 new homes for older people will be delivered as a result of this decision. The Government has provided almost €13m for this redevelopment project which will see two development blocks constructed on either side of St. Finbar’s Road. There will be two 2-bedroom apartments with the remaining 44 being one bedroom apartments.
This is a very welcome development and one that I have worked on within Government since 2016. I expect that the City Council will begin a tender process to select a building contractor so that works can start later this year.
