The people have spoken. In fact they have roared. I want to thank all who voted for me and all who put their trust in me. I want to thank all who worked on my campaign. And I want to thank the other candidates, successful and not successful, for the manner in which they fought the election.
The months and years that lie ahead are daunting. The problems this country faces are huge. But I will not shirk in playing my part, to represent the constituency that I call home and help rebuild the country I love
