Urgent update on water supply in Dublin as at 1pm 13th January 2010

Water Supply Dublin

Water will be available from stationary tankers at the following locations:

  1. Cabra – Ventry park x 2 static bowsers
  2. Cabra area x 3 moble bowsers – Carnlough Rd /Broombridge/ Roaming
  3. Shopping centre, Cardiffsbridge Rd, Finglas
  4. Middle 3rd, Nuns Lane
  5. St Canices Church, Finglas Village
  6. Belclare Park, Poppintree
  7. St Josephs church at Terenure Rd east
  8. Junction of Rathgar Ave & Rathgar Rd.
  9. Bushy Park
  10. Coolock Village ( Campions Pub )
  11. Santry – Lorcan Ave
  12. Poppintree/Ballymun rd @ Pumphouse
  13. Ormond quay
  14. Finglas – Jamestown rd @ FAS

NB: As a precautionary measure water from tankers should be boiled before using for drinking or cooking purposes.

These locations are subject to change depending on demand. Other tankers will also be deployed to meet demand.

Both mobile & stationary tankers will need to be replenished. They will be available until 8pm, depending on demand.

Mobile tankers will be available to provide water to hospitals and nursing homes. Other mobile tankers will be on roaming duties in areas without water. Please call 01 222 4221 or 222 0600 to arrange for a tanker to call to the elderly or those most at need.
