Investment in key healthcare facilities across #DublinCentral has been announced by the Government.
€27.55m will be spent this year in refurbishing community healthcare facilities, upgrading hospital surgical theatres, constructing new wards and primary care centres. This money will be used to invest in Temple Street where a fifth theatre will be built, Weir Home will be refurbished in Stanhope Terrace, to refurbish Adelphi House for Autism day services, the provision of acute care facilities in Temple Street, the extension of Adult & CAMHS facility along Griffith Avenue and the relocation of Eve Holdings to Grangegorman Villas.
Further substantial support to the Mater in its development as a major Trauma Centre will also be made this year as well as ongoing investment in developing a National Campus for the Visually Impaired on Gracepark Road in Drumcondra.
A good day for healthcare in #DublinCentral, made possible by making the right economic decisions and managing our public finances well over recent years.
