Polls from abroad

29th November, 2009

More polling news from the UK where the Conservative lead in the opinion polls has been reduced again. Granted, they still have a 10 point lead but it is another weekend of polling information showing a cut in the Tory lead.

Any learnings for Fine Gael? An obvious but crucial one, I think. That FF will inevitably be doing better when the election is called and that there can be absolutely no complacency. None. They are a very effective political party and we will have to fight them tooth and nail for victory.

Thankfully the man who knows this best is Enda. When the Red C poll came out last weekend he contacted us all to say that we were doing well but that we all need to work a lot harder. So, as they say, a lot done but more (far more) to do.
