I have been using Twitter for the last couple of weeks. It is a social networking site that allows you to post messages to ‘followers’. I love it. It is elegant and very easy to use. Below you can see a panel with all of my latest ‘twits’. Each day one or two people add themselves to the list to see my updates.
There is a fascinating article in this week’s Economist about the use been made of Twitter by American politicians. It appears to be a bit of a craze in Congress at the moment. Apparently a Republican representative caused a security risk when he twitted from Baghdad. Another prominent Democratic
Senator has been using Twitter to provide an update on negotiations over the US stimulus plan.
